Facilities & Services
The huge Social Clubhouse offers a comprehensive range of social and recreation facilities for the whole family. These facilities include a childcare centre and outdoor playground, a lounge with karaoke rooms and a dance floor, jackpot/cards room, restaurants, and a horseshoe pitching court.
Over at the Recreation Clubhouse, an Olympic-sized pool and landscaped funpool, sauna rooms, tennis and squash courts, 36-lane bowling alley, snooker centre, an indoor air-conditioned 2-storey children's play system and a 5,000 square feet gym let you stretch your limbs for a sporting experience.
In addition, our Social and Recreation department organises activities covering a wide range of interests such as cooking classes, health talks, birthday parties, educational workshops, including large-scale events like balls and parties. We also organise a whole range of sporting activities such as swimming and tennis classes, bowling tournaments, mahjong and squash competitions.
Golf Course
Located along the truly picturesque waterways of the Sungei Seletar Reservoir, OCC boasts one of the most breathtaking courses in the region.
The Club has three 9-hole courses shaped by Chris Pitman who also had a hand in the redesign of Tanah Merah and Sentosa courses. The 27-hole international championship course were designed with the late Mr Ong Teng Cheong's personal guidance to be uniquely different. Named after orchids, the Aranda, Vanda and Dendro courses feature acres of immaculately manicured fairways and greens. Tee-off on a gentle rolling hill, conquer the strategically placed bunkers and drive a shot along the glassy waterways. Occasionally, be greeted by brilliantly-coloured flowers swaying to the cool breeze that sweeps through the reservoir. Our 27-hole course played host to the Singapore Open 1999.
Aranda
The Aranda Course (Par 36, 3051m) was the first 9-hole to be completed in September 1993. The fairways are wide making golf an enjoyable game for many new enthusiasts. However, some of the greens are undulating and huge, measuring an average of 700 to 900 square meters.

The Vanda Course is a Par 36 (3037m). Despite being the shortest of the three courses, it offers challenging course management with abundant water hazards. Accuracy is a premium here. Good examples would be holes 6, 7 and 8.
Dendro
Besides being the longest of the three 9-hole courses (Par 37, 3262m), the Dendro Course has also one of the longest Par 5 (3rd hole -590m) in Singapore. The complexity of the hole, besides the length, extends from the tee-shot which requires a carry of 180m across a pond to a narrow fairway bordered by OB on its left side to the green and protected by fairway sand traps. Here, the golfer needs not only accuracy, but also power to be on in regulation.
The amenities and services which the Orchid Country Club Singapore offers are in fact, numerous. The hotel has its own Golf Course and also provides you with the facility of Night Golfing.
The Aranda has 9 holes, and is 3051 meters long. It has 36 pars. The Vanda has 9 holes and is 3037 meters long with 36 pars. The Dendro also has 9 holes with 3262 meters and 37 pars while, the Driving Range has 2 tiers and 160 bays, all being computerized.
Apart from this, the hotel also provides you with Aerobics, Ball room with a capacity of 1000 people, Billiard Lounge, Bowing Alley with 36 lanes, Children's playground, Children's indoor nursery, Conference and seminar facilities, gymnasium, coffee shop, Chinese Restaurant and Theme Restaurant.
The Orchid Country Club Singapore also offers you with karaoke, Mahjong, Member's Lounge, Pro shop, Reading Room, Squash Courts, Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, Theatrette, Video Games Room, Par Lounge, Pool Side Bar and Vanda Terrace.
Recreation and Amenities is at its best in The Orchid Country Club Singapore. Stretched over 100 hectares, the club has probably one of the best services to offer you. You can take a long walk in the evening along the lush green golf course or hop in to the coffee shops for spending out your time.
You can always peep in to the Supermarket where groceries are available for the members. The quality of food in the Chinese Restaurants and the Themes Restaurant is very mush commendable. In fact, the ambience of the entire hotel is so good that you will definitely be pleased.
